If you were looking for an extravagant Oscar de la Renta soiree this year, we are sorry to disappoint. Oscar de la Renta has opted for a more intimate setting to show his collections, moving up from a once a year showing to two showings per year. The Oscar de la Renta Fall 2014 Bridal Collection, presented over breakfast with editors and buyers in attendance, gave all attendees the opportunity study the gowns in detail. This strategy has proven to be very successful, as excited collection viewers had many “ohh” and “ahh” moments while viewing the gownOscar-de-la-Renta-Fall-2014-Bridal-Collection-Has-a-Change-in-Venue_03

There are no super cute flower girls in this collection this time, one of the many features that everyone looks forward to when viewing an Oscar de la Renta bridal collection. However, despite the missing famous hallmark, this show was every bit about the dresses as any other show. From tulle ball gowns, to off-shoulder bodices and overlays, the collection provided flair and bridal appeal. This year’s collection showed off simplistic beauty with lovely A-line gowns and gorgeous slinky numbers. While simple, the collection has its dramatic moments with profound, draping bows. As usual, there is something for every bride to fall in love with in  the Oscar de la Renta Fall 2014 Bridal Collection.
